A Kitchen from Ashes

This classic Kirkwood bungalow had survived a fire and the oak cabinets found within were singed and smoked. We annexed a staircase into the basement to enlarge the footprint of the room designed a dark-stained cherrywood kitchen to mesh with the natural wood theme of the restoration. The cabinets were topped with a dark granite and the clients selected cobalt pendant lights to accent the island.
