Man Cave Luxury Bath

This basement bathroom was renovated in conjunction with the creation of an adjacent "Man Cave." Keeping with the earthy and masculine aesthetic of the project, we replaced the white laminates and plastics of the old bathroom with tans and browns in quality materials. The tub was replaced by a large shower stall tiled in travertine, with a darker travertine floor, glass tile accents, and a hefty full-width shower door. The concrete floors were finished with a tobacco stain and the fixtures are all oil-rubbed bronze. The vanity was custom made out of sapele wood and topped with a desert sandstorm granite and copper bowl. The door and trim in the bathroom were also replaced with custom made sapele pieces, and the ceiling was raised to eliminate the cave-like feel of this "Man Cave."
